Affordable Housing

A tax credit property is an apartment complex owned by an investor who has agreed to participate in the Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program (also called The Affordable Housing Program). These owners are able to claim tax credit for eligible buildings in return for renting some or all of the apartments to low income tenants at a restricted rent.
